Why practise yoga?

Regular yoga practice can increase flexibility and strength, help physical conditions such as backache, stiffness and headaches, regulate blood pressure and strengthen the body’s own healing systems. Yoga can also instil a sense of deep calm and contentment. It can offer the space to sink inside and just ‘be’ – something which is increasingly rare in our busy lives.

In my classes I blend learnings from the Sivananda, Ashtanga, Iyengar and Kundalini styles into a yoga flow which explores physical boundaries while bringing the body into harmony with the breath. My aim is to help students to rebalance their energy so that they feel lighter and more positive after class.
