Yin yoga is the perfect antidote to the busyness of modern living. It is a safe, gentle form of yoga where the postures are held for longer than usual. This allows us to sink gradually and more deepy into each stretch, releasing both physical and emotional blockages. Yin yoga works deeply into the body’s fascia and can facilitate the release of deeply held patterns of tension and emotion.
The classes explore ways to bring the body’s energy back into alignment using ancient principles of Chinese medicine and working in accordance with the energies of the natural seasons. Supported by blocks and bolsters we will follow a sequence of postures designed to rebalance the body’s energy and leave you feeling centred, relaxed and refreshed.
