Yin Yoga

Wednesday 7 March 2018

8-9.30pm  £15 per session

St Thomas Aquinas Church Hall, Ham

Yin yoga is the perfect antidote to the busyness of modern living. It is a safe, gentle form of yoga where the postures are held for longer than usual. Working deeply into the body’s fascia, yin yoga can take us to a place of acceptance and surrender, which can facilitate the release of deeply held patterns of tension and emotion.

The classes explore ways to bring the body’s energy back into alignment using ancient principles of Chinese medicine and working in accordance with the energies of the natural seasons. Supported by blocks and bolsters we will follow a sequence of postures designed to rebalance the body’s energy and leave you feeling centred, relaxed and refreshed.

This will be a candlelit class.

Booking required.
